Zhujiang New Town is situated at the junction of Tianhe, Yuexiu, and Haizhu districts in Guangzhou. It forms a core part of Tianhe Central Business District (CBD), one of China’s three national-level CBDs. Since its planning and development began in the 1990s, Zhujiang New Town has evolved into the most densely concentrated area in China for skyscrapers exceeding 300 meters in height. It is also the district in Guangzhou with the highest concentration of Fortune Global 500 companies, solidifying its status as the city’s true urban core.
