Zhu-Zhao High-Speed Railway
The Zhuhai–Zhaoqing High-Speed Railway (Zhu-Zhao HSR) is the first high-speed rail line in Guangdong Province to be independently invested in, constructed, and managed by the province itself, designed for a top speed of 350 km/h. It is a key project under the Planning for the Construction of Intercity Railways in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, aimed at enhancing the railway network layout on the western shore of the Pearl River Estuary.
The line connects Zhuhai, Jiangmen, Foshan, and Zhaoqing, spanning a total length of 184.5 kilometers. Upon completion, the railway will significantly strengthen rapid connectivity between the eastern and western banks of the Pearl River and southwestern China, further boost Guangdong’s economic development, and play a vital role in advancing the integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
