Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport
Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport is a 4F-class international aviation hub serving the Western Taiwan Straits region, functioning as a gateway for the Maritime Silk Road and cross-strait exchanges. Located on Dadeng Island in Xiang'an District, the airport has a total investment of RMB 55.574 billion and a core area covering 20.16 square kilometers. The project is being developed in three phases. Phase I includes the construction of two parallel runways—one northern (4F-class) and one southern—and a 550,000-square-meter Terminal 1 (T1). Designed to handle an annual passenger throughput of 45 million, the airport is scheduled to officially open for operations by the end of 2026.
